Zakiya Worthey is the CEO of K. Lamb, LLC, a human-centered change management and strategic planning consulting firm that partners with mission-driven organizations to strengthen impact, sustainability, and organizational effectiveness. Through strategic planning, organizational development, workplace culture transformation, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) integration, she supports organizations in aligning their operations and people practices with their mission and values.

Zakiya developed her consulting expertise as a federal consultant, working across multiple government agencies to support large-scale change initiatives, streamline complex systems, and improve operational efficiency. Her experience in strategic change management and project management has enabled organizations to simplify processes, strengthen governance, and chart clear paths forward during periods of growth and transition. She brings deep expertise in organizational culture and systems change, with a particular focus on helping nonprofits navigate complexity while remaining mission-centered.

She works closely with executive leadership and boards to assess organizational needs and co-create tailored strategies that produce measurable results. By applying change management best practices and human-centered design principles, Zakiya helps organizations transform underperforming or misaligned systems into inclusive, effective structures where people are engaged, accountable, and aligned around shared purpose. Her approach blends consulting and counseling perspectives to foster healthier organizational environments that support both people and mission.

Zakiya holds a Master of Arts in Community Agency Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
